The Parvus Box

You sign up as a volunteer for an experiment and get shrunk to microscopic size. From that moment everything around you is out of proportion: a spoon is a bridge, a crumb is an obstacle, and an ordinary kitchen is a landscape you have to find your way across. The Parvus Box is one of our two walk-through rooms. You don't sit here, you physically move through the space, with 2 to 6 players at once. That makes it play very differently from the seated rooms: you can see each other and point things out. With a scare level of 1 out of 5 and difficulty 3 out of 5, this is the room that works best for mixed groups and for children from age 8. Included in Level 2, 3 and 4, or separately for €35.

How itplays

Frequently asked questions

The Parvus Box is played with up to 6 players per session. Coming with a larger group? We split you across consecutive sessions so everyone plays and nobody waits around.

A session lasts 30 min. Allow about fifteen minutes extra for the briefing, fitting the headset and talking it over afterwards.

From age 10. For free roam we use 10 because you move freely through the arena. No experience needed: our crew explains the controls before you start, and glasses fit under the headset.

Barely. This is one of the calmest titles we have and a good first headset experience.

Both work. The Parvus Box is included in Level 2 · 3 · 4, or you can book a single session from €35. In a pass you play several worlds back to back, which usually works out better value.
