Something other than the pub: survive virtual worlds together, race each other and play arcade till you drop. Book a pass and combine all three worlds.
Free roaming, racing and the arcade run side by side across 1,500 m². Where a group elsewhere often waits in shifts, here your whole group is playing the entire time.

Outing with friends
Nobody can do it yetand that is the point
There is always someone too good at bowling, and someone who checks out by the third round. That is the trouble with most outings: there is a winner who could already do it. Almost nobody has experience with VR, so you all start from the same place.
Together or against
Both fitin one afternoon
Together is the free roam mission: you walk through a world with your group where you have to point out to each other where the danger is, or you will not get through. Against each other is the racing floor, one circuit, and a leaderboard that leaves nobody alone.
The one who never games at home often turns out to be the most fanatical, because there is nothing to learn. The crew explains the headset in a minute and after that you are simply in it.
Bad weather
The one planthat still holds
Half of what Amsterdam offers is outdoors or on the water, and then you are rearranging things on the morning itself. We are entirely indoors, and the ferry from Central takes five minutes, so you are not standing in the rain on the way either.
Afterwards you do not have to go anywhere. There is a bar on site, and that is usually when the conversation finally starts, because by then everyone has been through the same thing.

Frequently asked questions
Both work. A pass combines the worlds and is usually better value.
From small groups to hundreds; larger groups run in phases and heats.
Yes, on request via a tailored proposal.
The standard options are bowling, karting, laser tag, escape rooms, a canal cruise and a terrace. What you pick mostly depends on whether you want to work together or compete. Working together is good when the group does not all know each other equally well, because it gives everyone a reason to talk. Competing works better with a group that has been together for years. We have both in the same space: escape rooms and free roam VR on one side, racing with a leaderboard on the other.
This is the question half of all plans fall over, because a lot of what Amsterdam offers is outdoors or on the water. What is left indoors: bowling, escape rooms, a museum, a cinema and VR. We are entirely indoors, so the weather makes no difference and you do not need a plan B. Useful detail: the ferry from Central takes five minutes, so you are not standing in the rain long to get here.
For a single activity of thirty minutes to an hour you are usually under 25 euro per person. For a programme of a few hours with several components, count on 35 to 75 euro. What makes it clear with us: the package prices are on this page, per person, and you see up front what is included. Coming with a larger group? Send an enquiry and you will get a programme matched to your numbers.
From two up to a sizeable group. The question that actually matters is not how many people fit, but how many can play at the same time, because that decides whether part of the group stands waiting. We run larger groups in rounds, so everyone gets a turn while the rest watch or stand at the bar. Coming with more than ten? Send an enquiry and we will split the programme so there are no gaps.
That is usually not a problem, and often the opposite of what people expect. Someone who never games at home is not behind here, because almost nobody has stood in VR before and it clicks within a minute. Racing is the same: you do not need a driving licence. The part that looks least like gaming is the escape room, where you solve puzzles in a room. In practice the most fanatical person of the day is rarely the one who was keen beforehand.
Yes, there is a bar on site, so you do not have to move the group the moment the programme ends. In practice that is when the conversation really starts, because by then everyone has something to talk about. Want to head into town afterwards: the ferry to Amsterdam Central runs all evening and takes five minutes. There are places to eat and drink in the tower itself too, so you can keep it close by.
